For four years, she coordinated a MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) group that connected moms together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. Kerry attends many educational workshops and continuing education classes to keep her up-to-date with educational practices.
She has two sons, Parker (12) and Ryder (8). Her husband, Jon, was born and raised in Bellingham and they have been married 17 years. Other than teaching, parenting and volunteering she has put her energy into racing and fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society with Team in Training.
